Qonta for project and contract services

Every project, from quotation to profit.

Quotations, stages, time, costs and money in one place. Qonta bills each stage when it is done, keeps the retention for the end, and shows what every project really made.

Problems project businesses face

The work is done months before the money comes in.

A project is quoted once, done over weeks or months and paid in parts. If a stage is not invoiced on time, or the hours are never billed, the money is lost long before anyone notices. Qonta follows every project from the accepted quotation to the last payment.

EBM fines: the 2015 VAT law, reported by The New Times.

01

Stages are finished but not invoiced

Split an accepted quotation into stages: on signing, on a date, or when done. Each stage becomes its own invoice, and the retention the client keeps is billed at the end.

02

Hours and costs are never billed

Your team logs the hours they work on each project, on the web, the phone or WhatsApp. Costs you paid for the client are marked to charge on. One tap puts everything not billed yet on one invoice.

03

You do not know which projects make money

Each project shows the money that came in, what it cost, including your team's time, and the profit against its budget. Before you finish one, Qonta tells you what is still open.

04

A missing receipt is a fine

A sale with no EBM receipt costs 10 times the VAT, or 200,000 RWF if you are not VAT registered, and double that the second time. Every stage invoice goes through RRA's EBM like any other invoice.

One screen

See every project on one screen.

What each project brought in, what it cost and what it made, and how much of the budget is gone.

Built for work that takes months

A clear system to run your projects.

Sales quotes and splits the work into stages, the team logs its time, Management approves, and the Accountant follows every payment. Each person does their job on their own screen, and you see everything.

Stages and retention

Bill each stage when it is done.

Split an accepted quotation into stages that come to 100%. Each one is invoiced on signing, on its date or when the work is done, and the retention is billed at the end.

Reports

Reports your bank will ask for.

Most Rwandan businesses say getting a loan is their biggest problem. Banks ask for clear financial reports before they lend. Qonta prepares them to IFRS for SMEs at the end of each month, ready to download as PDF or Excel.
