What is inside

Five parts, one set of books.

Nothing here is a separate product with a separate price. Every part writes to the same books, so a paid invoice, a salary and a VAT figure never disagree.

Questions

What Qonta is, in plain words.

What is Qonta?

Qonta is accounting software made in Kigali for businesses in Rwanda. It keeps your sales, purchases, stock, invoices, payroll and tax in one set of books, on the Qonta app, on the web or by WhatsApp.

What does Qonta do?

It keeps your sales and purchases in one set of books, sends invoices and quotations, keeps your stock and what it cost, runs payroll with PAYE and RSSB, chases what customers owe and prepares the VAT you file. Your profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow are ready whenever you open them.

Who is Qonta for?

Companies in Rwanda where several people handle the money: manufacturers, distributors, print houses, pharmacies and retailers, from one branch to a group with a finance team. A business run by one person can start on Solo.

Is Qonta approved by the RRA?

Yes. Qonta is an RRA certified invoicing system under EBM 2.1, so the receipts it issues are signed EBM receipts. You do not need a separate EBM machine.

How much does Qonta cost?

Plans start at 9,500 RWF a month for Solo, the plan for one person running the business alone. Professional and Tailored have unlimited users: you pay for the business, not for the people in it.

Is Qonta the same as Qonto?

No. Qonta is Qonta Ltd, a Rwandan company in Kigali, and its site is qonta.rw. Qonto is a French business bank and is not related to Qonta.

One place for all your business money. Let us show you.

Book a demo and we set up your company, your people and their roles with you. Running the business alone? Start on Solo on WhatsApp in a minute.
